Week 4 Term 2

Dear Parents, as we return to our normal classroom routines and learning the children will need to make sure that they are bringing everything to school with them please. They are slowly getting back into the classroom schedule.
If your child has spare stationery supplies at home could you please send them to school so that we are able to access them when they are needed. Thank you.

Just a reminder of our Specialist days and what the children will need.
 Tuesday - Music file and recorder.
 Thursday- Library bag for book exchange.

Homework is happening and your child should bring home with them  their homework book with their weekly learning grid inside. They should also have their spelling words and mental maths homework sheet.
They will need a reader that I encourage to be exchanged on a regular basis. Thank you for your support.

We are continuing to use the Seesaw app in the classroom for different activities. If you get a chance ask your child what to show you what they have posted on Seesaw this week. You might be amazed!

Dear Parents, I hope you and your family have had an enjoyable, relaxing holiday even though it may have been very different from what you had originally planned. I have definitely made the most of my time at home and I am feeling recharged, relaxed and ready to start Term 2.  Wow, it's week 7, I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! We had a great day on Thursday celebrating our school sports carnival, congratulations to all the girls and boys for your amazing efforts and superb sportsmanship. Congratulations to our award winners: Darcy & Lily-Eve! OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD It's that time of year that we participate in the 'Operation Christmas Child' shoe box initiative that has been a wonderful OLC tradition for many years and reflects our school value of Compassion so well. These shoe boxes are sent to underprivileged children throughout the world as a gift for Christmas.  The children will be placed into in groups of four and between them, they will fill a shoebox with a variety of items. The items do not need to be expensive. Each child in the group will be asked to cover the cost of sending the shoebox to its final destination. We ask them to bring in $2.50 each. Week 9 Term 1

Dear Parents, welcome to Week 9. A huge thank you to all of you for your support during this very different time in all our lives. I am here to support your child and also you as parents to the best of my ability. I am more than happy to reply to any emails that you send to answer any questions or concerns that you have. We are currently in the process of setting different ways that we will be able to communicate with the children and also with you. We will be checking in on you to make this situation as easy as possible.
