Week 9 - Seesaw Information

Dear Parents, it is now officially holiday time for you and your family. Thank you for sharing your child's work with me. I have loved receiving it.

You should have all received a Seesaw Login through email today. If you haven't please let me know.

The idea is to just do the simple activities set so that the children know how to use Seesaw. We will begin using it next term.

I wish you all a very happy holiday even though it may be very different to your usual holiday at this time. Enjoy celebrating Easter with each other.

Term 2 Week 1

Dear Parents, I hope you and your family have had an enjoyable, relaxing holiday even though it may have been very different from what you had originally planned. I have definitely made the most of my time at home and I am feeling recharged, relaxed and ready to start Term 2. If you are planning to send your child to school could you please ensure that they bring anything they took home with them at the end of the term. Week 5

Dear Parents, I hope you were able to enjoy the long weekend with you family. This week it is our Prayer Assembly on Friday 6th March starting at 2.15. Your child should have brought home a part to read for the assembly. If for some reason your child is not going to be at school on Friday could you please let me know A.S.A.P. The children are deciding what colours to wear for the assembly depending on what they have in their wardrobe. I will send a final note home tomorrow with your child. Next week is swimming - all week. We will leave school at 11.40 and return at 2.30. The children will take their lunch with them. There is a break in between the double lesson. Your child can wear their bathers underneath their sports uniform ( for the whole week ) or else get changed before we go to the pool. They will return to school in their bathers and then get changed before going home. They can bring thongs to wear to and from the pool if they would like to. Enjoy your Week 5. Kind r...

 Wow, it's week 7, I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! We had a great day on Thursday celebrating our school sports carnival, congratulations to all the girls and boys for your amazing efforts and superb sportsmanship. Congratulations to our award winners: Darcy & Lily-Eve! OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD It's that time of year that we participate in the 'Operation Christmas Child' shoe box initiative that has been a wonderful OLC tradition for many years and reflects our school value of Compassion so well. These shoe boxes are sent to underprivileged children throughout the world as a gift for Christmas.  The children will be placed into in groups of four and between them, they will fill a shoebox with a variety of items. The items do not need to be expensive. Each child in the group will be asked to cover the cost of sending the shoebox to its final destination. We ask them to bring in $2.50 each.
