Week 4

Dear Parents, thank you for your support with the new homework grid last week. I was really impressed with the creativity when the children were doing their spelling words.

It was lovely to read the home activities that your child did as their free choice.

This week flashcards for mental maths should have come home with your child. The plan is for the children to learn and automatically know the different number combinations.

If you have not returned your Incursion and Excursion note could you please do so A.S.A.P.

Term 2 Week 1

Dear Parents, I hope you and your family have had an enjoyable, relaxing holiday even though it may have been very different from what you had originally planned. I have definitely made the most of my time at home and I am feeling recharged, relaxed and ready to start Term 2. If you are planning to send your child to school could you please ensure that they bring anything they took home with them at the end of the term. Term 3 Week 5

Dear Parents, I am just touching base to let you know what will be happening in the next few weeks. It's not to scare you but give you the opportunity to plan ahead. Week 5- Book Week this Friday dressed as a Book Character. Week 7- Year 3 combined Assembly (Friday 6th September). More details will follow but the dress requirements will be very simple. Week 7- Jumps (Wednesday 4th September) Week 8- Throws (Wednesday 11th September) Week 8 - School Photos either Thursday or Friday (12th or 13th September) Week 9- Athletics Carnival (Thursday 19th September) As these events get closer I will send out more details. Week 5

Dear Parents, I hope you were able to enjoy the long weekend with you family. This week it is our Prayer Assembly on Friday 6th March starting at 2.15. Your child should have brought home a part to read for the assembly. If for some reason your child is not going to be at school on Friday could you please let me know A.S.A.P. The children are deciding what colours to wear for the assembly depending on what they have in their wardrobe. I will send a final note home tomorrow with your child. Next week is swimming - all week. We will leave school at 11.40 and return at 2.30. The children will take their lunch with them. There is a break in between the double lesson. Your child can wear their bathers underneath their sports uniform ( for the whole week ) or else get changed before we go to the pool. They will return to school in their bathers and then get changed before going home. They can bring thongs to wear to and from the pool if they would like to. Enjoy your Week 5. Kind r
