FREE EXCURSION- Wheelie, Walkie, Waste-Free Wednesday!!!

Dear Parents, the excursion is happening on Thursday 12th December at X-cape to the Cape.
I will be asking for volunteers to come to help but I will send the permission note out next week so that there is no confusion between the joint Year 3 Discover Deadly Excursion. We are all very excited!!!

St Vinnies Christmas Appeal- If you have still not contributed to the appeal can I please ask you to send in a toiletry item with your child A.S.A.P. Thank you for your contributions.

HOMEWORK: this week the children should be doing Reading, Spelling and finishing off any Mental Maths that they haven't done.

Week 5

Dear Parents, I hope you were able to enjoy the long weekend with you family. This week it is our Prayer Assembly on Friday 6th March starting at 2.15. Your child should have brought home a part to read for the assembly. If for some reason your child is not going to be at school on Friday could you please let me know A.S.A.P. The children are deciding what colours to wear for the assembly depending on what they have in their wardrobe. I will send a final note home tomorrow with your child. Next week is swimming - all week. We will leave school at 11.40 and return at 2.30. The children will take their lunch with them. There is a break in between the double lesson. Your child can wear their bathers underneath their sports uniform ( for the whole week ) or else get changed before we go to the pool.  Wow, it's week 7, I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! We had a great day on Thursday celebrating our school sports carnival, congratulations to all the girls and boys for your amazing efforts and superb sportsmanship. Congratulations to our award winners: Darcy & Lily-Eve! OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD It's that time of year that we participate in the 'Operation Christmas Child' shoe box initiative that has been a wonderful OLC tradition for many years and reflects our school value of Compassion so well. These shoe boxes are sent to underprivileged children throughout the world as a gift for Christmas.  The children will be placed into in groups of four and between them, they will fill a shoebox with a variety of items. The items do not need to be expensive. Each child in the group will be asked to cover the cost of sending the shoebox to its final destination. We ask them to bring in $2.50 each.
